  • The neurological decline with Parkinson’s disease affects nutrition, swallowing and causes constipation, dribbling and consequent embarrassment
  • Therapies for refractory cases include deep brain stimulation, intra-intestinal dopamine infusions and subcutaneous dopamine and apomorphine infusions
