Description

Protecting the endometrium is a priority when starting hormone therapy for a symptomatic menopausal woman with an intact uterus.

In this presentation, menopause expert Prof Rod Baber not only provides the evidence for the role of progestogens in protecting women against endometrial hyperplasia and cancer, but he gives practical guidance for clinicians about which progestogen to use, the dose, the regimen, the follow-up and even what to do about side effects.
