Does atopic eczema affect the risk of cancer? It’s a question that has been the subject of much controversy over many years. Does the increased immune surveillance associated with atopic eczema decrease cancer risk? Or does the increased immune stimulation associated with the world’s most common inflammatory skin condition increase the risk of cancer?
Well, according to findings from two large cohort studies from England and Denmark, the answer appears to be a lot clearer.
