Associate Professor Carolyn Allan graduated in medicine from Monash University with honours and undertook advanced training in endocrinology at Prince Henry’s Hospital/Monash Medical Centre and at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. After returning to Australia in 1999, she completed a PhD in Andrology at Prince Henry’s Institute (now the Hudson Institute of Medical Research).

Since 2001 A/Prof Allan has been a member of Senior Medical Staff in the Departments of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Monash Health. She is the inaugural Head of the Endocrine Pregnancy Service and was previously Head of the Diabetes Pregnancy Service.

A/Prof Allan’s practice includes diabetes and general and reproductive (male and female) endocrinology. A/Prof Allan together with Dr Matthiesson is a Director of the Victorian Diabetes Endocrine Network.
Dr Prash Puspanathan is a medical doctor and has been a Neuropsychiatry Fellow at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne since 2013. Prash entered the field of Psychiatry so as to further his interest in the therapeutic potential of psychedelics. He has been an advocate on the importance of these medicine-assisted psychotherapies to the medical community, both in Australia and at conferences globally. He started and ran Psychonauts Onymous, Australia’s first monthly gathering of multidisciplinary professionals discussing current research into the psychedelic space.

Jordan is formally recognised as one of Australia’s foremost cyber safety experts and is the founder of ySafe, an international organisation that provides cyber safety education and solutions to schools. A Clinical Psychologist, Jordan won the 2018 WA Young Achiever Award for her pioneering work in the field of cyber safety.

Jordan has extensive clinical expertise in working with children and adolescents managing problematic technology use, including cyberbullying and gaming addiction.

Jordan often presents as a guest lecturer at prestigious Australian universities, provides comment in national media stories as a subject matter expert and presents as a keynote speaker at national education and cyber safety conferences.
Dr Jessica Kaufman is a Research Fellow in the Vaccine Uptake group at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. Her areas of expertise include vaccination-related communication, mixed methods research, intervention design and evaluation. Her current research includes developing and evaluating interventions and policies to improve vaccine uptake in pregnant women, children with neurodevelopmental disorders and people of refugee background. She is also involved in mapping and designing measurement instruments to diagnose the reasons for under-vaccination. Jessica is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University, a member of the steering committee for the Collaboration on Social Science in Immunisation (COSSI) network, and an editor with the Cochrane Consumers and Communication review group.
Dr Kathy McNamee is the Medical Director of Sexual Health Victoria. She co-authored Contraception: an Australian clinical practice handbook and is an adjunct lecturer in the department of obstetrics and gynaecology at Monash University.
Dr Kate McIlwaine completed her Obstetrics & Gynaecology training through Monash and has a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from the Mercy Hospital for Women. She holds a Masters in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales. Kate’s special interests include minimally invasive surgery for the diagnosis and management of endometriosis and related conditions, infertility and menstrual management. Kate consults at Genea Fertility in Heidelberg and Eastern Gynaecology in Mitcham. She is a VMO Gynaecologist at various private hospitals including St Vincent’s Private, Warringal and Mitcham Private. Kate also holds a public appointment as a Consultant Gynaecologist on the Endosurgery Unit at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg.
Dr Savoia is a consultant Haematologist and Transfusion Medicine Specialist at the Royal Children’s and Royal Women’s Hospitals in Melbourne and has been practicing in the area of pregnancy-related haematology since the late 1990s.
Helen is currently Director of Laboratory Services which contributes to the provision of clinical and laboratory haematology and transfusion services to the Royal Children’s and Royal Women’s Hospitals.
Helen is an Honorary Fellow in the Department of Paediatrics, University of Melbourne, completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.
Dr Lyndon Hale has been the Medical Director at Melbourne IVF since 2008. He brings extensive experience in assisted reproduction treatments to the care of his patients and is highly regarded for both his knowledge and proactive approach. As an experienced specialist, Dr Hale is also responsible for training new doctors in the field of fertility.
Dr Jill Cargnello completed her medical degree and dermatology training in Melbourne and then spent two years in London where she worked at St Bartholomew’s hospital as a consultant dermatologist and a senior lecturer in dermatology. She has private rooms in Malvern East where she sees patients for all aspects of general dermatology, including skin cancer management, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, pigmentation disorders, hyperhidrosis, hair loss, paediatric and adolescent dermatology. She also has expertise in using vascular, sublative and pigmented lasers. In addition, Jill consults at the Austin Repat Medical Centre and the Skin and Cancer Foundation. Jill enjoys the challenges of all aspects of Dermatology, but she has particular interest and expertise in managing hair disorders, skin cancer, acne and the ageing process.
David has been a GP in Newtown for over 30 years and has interests in under and post graduate medical education and also a specific interest in the management of Type 2 Diabetes. He remains as a doctor at Church Street Medical Practice and also works at the Centre for Gastrointestinal Health in Castle Hill.
