Dr Wayne Warburton is a Professor of developmental psychology at Macquarie University and is also a registered psychologist. His research and scientific publications are primarily about aggressive behaviour, violent and prosocial media, and screen disorders. He is co-author of several statements by international panels of experts, including on media violence and on youth violence for the International Society for Research on Aggression and on video game violence for the US Supreme Court. He has won over 25 awards for his scholarship and teaching, including the 2018 Distinguished Scientific Contribution to Media Psychology and Technology Award from the American Psychological Association.
Prof Paul Van Buynder is a Public Health Physician and the immediate past Chairman of the Australian Immunisation Coalition. He is a Professor in the School of Medicine at Griffith University in Queensland. He has held senior public health positions in a number of Australian states, in two Canadian jurisdictions and at the Centre for Infections in the United Kingdom. He has held personal appointments on sub-committees of National Immunisation Technical Advisory Committees in three continents. He is a reviewer for over 10 journals and has over 60 refereed book chapters and articles.
Dr Gary Deed is currently National Chair RACGP Diabetes Specific Interest Group. He is a QLD GP living with diabetes with a passionate interest in promoting quality patient care of diabetes in general practice through education, development of resources including guidelines, policy development, research and strategic collaboration.
Dr Bernard Hudson is a Senior Staff Specialist with the Department of Microbiology & Infectious Diseases at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and the Medical Director of Travel Health Advisor formerly known in Australia and New Zealand as MASTA (www.travelhealthadvisor.com.au). He is also a Senior Lecturer in Infectious Diseases at Sydney University and a Clinical Associate Professor at James Cook University in North Queensland.
