Rod Baber is Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney and is Head of the Menopause and Menstrual Disorders Clinic at the Royal North Shore Hospital. He is Immediate Past President of The International Menopause Society and a Past President of The Australasian Menopause Society. Prof Baber is also Chair of The Medical Advisory Board of Family Planning NSW, Associate Editor of The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Editor in Chief of Climacteric, the Journal of the International Menopause Society. In 2013, the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists recognised his contribution to the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the award of The Distinguished Service Medal.
