Description

By working through the common misconceptions around dairy intolerance and allergy, Dr Rupert Hinds, Paediatric Gastroenterologist, will explain how to sort fact from fiction with young patients and their parents. Exactly what are the gastrointestinal manifestations of cow’s milk allergy in infants, who might have lactose intolerance and which symptoms are being incorrectly attributed to the child’s milk intake. He will also provide practical advice on how to manage infants with these allergies and intolerances, including appropriate assessment, red flags, diagnosis and long-term monitoring.
